Thanks for visiting my website.

I’m Jessica and I love creating paintings filled with joy.  My work can be recognized by the vibrant palette and energetic brush strokes that shift and flow throughout the canvas. I’m truly passionate about creating work that brings joy to the viewer and puts a smile on their face. While my subjects may vary from whimsy shapes, to animals, abstracts, cityscapes, and floral bouquets, the fact remains that they are all bright, colorful, and joy filled works of art.

No matter how small it may seem in the grand scheme of things, I love the idea of making the world a happier place, one joy-filled painting at a time.

I do several live painting events throughout the year for weddings, fundraisers, and pop-up shop events. I enjoy creating a special piece that captures the energy of the event and also interacting with onlookers that are curious about my work. I painted live during the St. Louis Zoo’s 2018 summer fundraiser and three consecutive years at Artscope’s annual WallBall fundraiser.

Over the past few years, my colorful creations have been displayed in several galleries, group exhibitions, and events. Notably the CEO Forum and the Coffee Art Project exhibition at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan, Des Peres Hospital, Lindenwood J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts, and the St. Louis Renaissance Hotel.

In 2018, my artwork was featured on the 2018 Georges Duboeuf wine bottles sold exclusively to Costco stores across the United States and also featured in House and Garden Magazine’s December 2017 and January 2018 issues.

My originals are also in private collections located in Mexico, The United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Italy, Australia, and the United States.

I received a Bachelor of Business Administration and worked in the ‘for-profit’ finance/accounting realm since 2009. I later decided to pursue a career that would combine my two passions of art and business and joined the ‘non-for-profit” sector of accounting. I held the position of Director of Finance and Human Resources at Craft Alliance up until 2019, when I made the decision to run my own company and be an artist full time!

(I even wrote a blog post on it.)

My work can be found at the below locations and also here on my website! I participate in pop ups and events so be sure to check out my events page to stay updated.
