Hello there and thanks for visiting my website!
My name is Jessica Hitchcock and I love creating pieces that are filled with joy. My paintings can be recognized by their vibrant color and energetic brush strokes. Over the past few years, my colorful creations have been displayed in several galleries, group exhibitions, events, and are now in private collections in Mexico, The United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Italy, Australia, and the US. I've volunteered for the Contemporary Art Museum along with Art Saint Louis, where I am currently a member. My most notable exhibition from this previous year includes showing in the CEO Forum and the Coffee Art Project exhibition at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan. My work can be found in restaurants, coffee shops, and stores in Springfield, IL and Kimmswick, MO and also here at jessicahitchcock.org.
While being introduced to painting in 2003, it was not until 2015 when I began to truly hone my artistic skills in acrylic painting. I attended the University of Illinois Springfield where I received my Bachelor of Business Administration with Cum Laude honors in 2014. I worked in the ‘for-profit’ administration realm since 2009, but decided to pursue a career that would combine my two passions of art and business and joined the ‘non-for-profit” sector of accounting. I moved to Saint Louis in 2013 and is currently the Director of Finance and Human Resources at Craft Alliance Center of Art + Design.
I have originals for sale at these wonderful locations.
